I’ve been eagerly awaiting the moment for my new peach tree to wake from dormancy. It’s always impressive to see the tiny leaves form on the branches in the spring. The best part is you just don’t know where new growth will come from and in what direction.
Before the peach tree was planted in the backyard, an old Dogwood tree needed to be removed. Half the V shaped tree was dead and tangled in vines at the top canopy. A few years ago I was wondering what if I cut down that tree. Then early this spring, I committed to adding another fruit tree and am happy for it.
